Grandparents Day

One of the reasons why we chose the Schoolroom (Henri's toddler school now) is because they had a lot of activities/projects that help build a closely knit family. One of the things they stress on is the importance of different relationships. Today was Grandparents Day! Henri spent quality time with two very special people... his Lolo Monching whom he fondly calls "Papa" and his paparazzi Lola Josie.  It's a pity Grandma Jo missed this. We are crossing our fingers that she'll make it next year for this activity!

This was the little project Henri did with both his grandparents;

Lola Josie was first to arrive...

Instructions:
1. Get a mesh pouch from the teachers.

2. Place the cut-out paper heart with Henri's name inside the pouch.
3. Fill up the pouch with the colorful confetti and poutpurri.

 4. Seal the pouch.
 Voila! Henri to Lola Josie : This is for you, Lola. Keep it inside your drawer so you'll always remember me :)
 "Flowers are the sweetest things in the world. So are grandparents."

Now it's Papa and Henri's time to bond...

 Henri was so focused with his task at hand.

 Henri to Papa : I can handle this Papa.... let me do it myself.

Henri is truly lucky to have the best (not to mention the coolest) grandparents who do nothing but spoil him to death! :)
