We celebrated Thanksgiving in your Ninong Jimmy's house. They decided to have it there because they were going to move out to their new house soon so it was sort of the last "hurrah". Grandma and I got you a costume for the occasion so you instantly became the star of the show...whoops I think you shared the limelight with Lolo Judgie's turkey! hahaha! :)

5 Months

Highlights this month:

We introduced you to your first solid food... rice cereal :) You didn't exactly like it at first but after a few tries, you were able to appreciate the texture.

You also became more sociable and started smiling back a lot. You said "Dddadadadada a lot" which got me a bit depressed because you said Dada before Mama...but no worries! I still love you to bits and pieces!

6 Months

My-oh-my! You've gotten so big already. During this month's check-up, you weighed 18.4 lbs!

Your diet this month: single fruit and veggie purees. I introduced avocado, sweet potato and apples. Out of the three, you liked avocado the most :)

Tita Maan also arrived from Manila to be your temporary babysitter because I was still finishing school :)
She bought a new camera when she got here so you immediately became her subject. I think she took over a thousand pictures of you! Lucky duck! :)

FIRST Christmas Season / Noche Beuna

It's the most wonderful time of the year! It's your First Christmas here in the city :) Lolo Monching and Ninong Hip arrived to spend the holidays here with us.

4 Months

As you can see, you were already rocking the mohawk! This month, you again increased your milk intake to 4 oz every 3 hours. I'm in my last stretch of breastfeeding because my supply was getting low and I had to go back to school.

Other highlights:

- You were really laughing out loud this time! We loved to tickle you and play peek-a-boo because you found it hilarious.

- Grabbing stage - you started grabbing things like your rattle and small toys

FIRST Halloween

Dada just arrived from Manila the day before Halloween and he was feeling sick that day. We decided to just dress you up. We went down to 1st Avenue and took a quick and brief stroll. We went trick or treating and got pennies instead of candies! You were the cutest GUITAR :)

3 Months

You were really gaining weight already and we again increased you increased your intake to 3 oz! The weather was getting cold already (not to mention that our heater at home had to be fixed!) We had to wear sweaters and you always had to be in a footsie! One time, Daddy yo and I felt a little crazy and started taking pictures of us in our footsies! It was silly but fun!

FIRST Photoshoot

When you were 2 months old, we decided to do a photoshoot with Tito Aris in their Soho studio. Everyone there was delighted to see you and found you absolutely adorable! The pictures were phenomenal.
